Background
When tasked with the creation of a spoof titled 'The Nasty-outcome Tradies,' inspired by Edward Gorey’s iconic 'The Gashlycrumb Tinies,' the objective was to humorously depict typical (nonfatal) incidents on construction job sites. Embracing the dark theme and aesthetic of Gorey's work, the project aimed to deliver a series of illustrations that seamlessly merged parody and homage.
Colour Palette
